Fritz Hansen – The Alphabet modular Sofa

In search of a new sofa! The beautiful, elaborate sofa we have is about to collapse. Not that I’m too sad as I already have my eyes peeled on a new beauty…

We bought a new sofa in 2007. And a sofa should live longer, I know. But it’s about to collapse. The fabric is sun damaged and worn, stains wont come off and … I’m just tired of the same old same old. It doesn’t help having seen the beauty from Fritz Hansen, the Alphabet. The designer and quality prize tag cools me down a bit, but we are just moments away from it!

The Summer holiday is cancelled -sofa it is!

Alphabet is a flexible modular sofa system with units that can be combined in a variety of ways. I’m thinking the duo grey is super cool! The fully upholstered seat, back and armrest units are manufactured in a core of layered foam with firmer foam on the front edge of the seat. Just wondering if I’ll find the backrest tall enough for my liking.

Regardless, I have no problem picturing myself lounging on this sofa…
