Scandinavian Kitchen is run by a dynamic husband and wife team, Swedish Jonas and Danish Bronte. The restaurant is famous for its open sandwiches, cakes, great coffee and hugs(!). They also have a shop with lots of Swedish treats and yes, they do catering.

Fabrique Bakery – Hoxton Arch 285, Geffreye Street, E2 8HZ
Hidden in the railway arches next to Hoxton Station, this bright and modern open style Swedish bakery is a must visit. Tip: Go hungry, so you can manage both a baguette and a cinnamon bun.
“This place is quite small and they serve the real filter coffee that Swedish folks like. I enjoy their sandwiches, their baguette “traditions” (seriously the best to find in all London) and their buns are just exquisite. And best cinnamon buns.” TripAdvisor

Bygga Bo is a Swedish cafe in Walthamstow serving locally sourced food, organic when possible, in relaxed Swedish surroundings. Again, the coffee here is exceptional. You’ll also find a small shop, with a selection of homeware, furniture, fashion, gifts and children’s toys.

Amazing Swedish sweet treats, biscuits and cakes baked fresh by Daniel. But if it’s lunch you are after they have some fantastic salads and open sandwiches too. Quint place but there always seems to be a free seat – or two.

South West London’s first Swedish restaurant and delicatessen, priding themselves in serving authentic home made food in a cosy laid back atmosphere. In addition to a restaurant you’ll also find a deli with all you can wish for of Swedish delicatessen. Stockholm Restaurant & Deli also do catering.

Escape the busy shopping streets and step into the Nordic Bakery, with interior that will make you believe you are in a retro wooden Finnish cabin. The freshly baked cinnamon buns are the main reason to go. Tip: Pick up a rye bread to take home!

A family run café offering breakfast and lunch menu of honest home cooked Swedish food inspired by head chef Paul and owner Sara’s family recipes. Dishes include Swedish meatballs and fresh fish. Their gravlax (cured salmon) is recommended. As well as their coffee.
