I have the crisp white cotton Bianca dress by Naja lauf, purchased it Wild Swans in London. It always receives so many compliments, but the most pleasing part is probably that’s it’s unbeliveable functional -as in machinewashable!

The designer’s home has been featured in the Afflante Website. The house, located on Bellevue Beach, North of Copenhagen has a relaxed and airy style with magnificent views onto the sea and the countryside.

Acne Studios SS12, our favourite picks

Acne Studios is part of the creative collective Acne, “Ambition to Create Novel Expression” which was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 1996. Co-founder of the Swedish brand Jonny Johansson created one hundred pairs of jeans in raw denim with red stitching and gave them away to friends and family. This became the foundation of the clothing branch of Acne, now known as Acne Studios. Today Acne Studios designs, markets and distributes fashion apparel and jeans worldwide. Baum und Pferdgarten SS12

Discovered in Wild Swans, a London boutique featuring Scandinavian womens fashion, the Copenhagen label Baum und Pferdgarten by Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave stood out featuring fascinating contrasts. The Spring Summer 2012 collection is most wearable, comfortable yet flattering. We love the maritime style, chic, modern and sporty.

When at Wild Swans in their Islington boutique, I managed to snap up a beautiful and versatile Baum und Pferdgarden Sade skirt. Unfortunately it’s been a rather chilly May in London, so far, so worn with tights and boots. But can’t wait for summer to come… Bring on sunkissed skin and high heeled sandals!
