Danish Royal Jeweller Georg Jensen is opening a Pop Up Boutique in London, in Westfield’s Luxury Village on Saturday 15 November -just in time for Christmas!
If you’re thirsty, there’s nothing healthier than plain water. And to make the plain water a bit more exciting we’ve chosen a few Scandinavian designer carafes, for your inspiration.
By Georg Jensen is this functional jug with a oak lid.
There’s the water carafe by Kartio Pitcher for Iitalla.

The Eva Solo Water carafe, with a neoprene cover to keep in the fridge.
Fun and full of life is this water carafe by Normann Copenhagen.
With a water carafe I tend to drink more water, especially if it’s in the fridge, as it’s cold and refreshing. The carafe from Georg Jensen is just super stylish, but the Eva Solo is probably even more functional as it just sist in the fridge, ready to serve. Which one is your favourite carafe?
Copenhagen based fashion house YDE creates unique and distinctive Prêt-à-Porter with a fine “poetic” touch. The label presented its new collection SS13 at Copenhagen Fashion Week August 2012, runway models accessorised with gorgeous shoes by Christian Louboutin and with vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver jewellery, curated by designer Ole Yde from the Danish silversmith’s impressive archives. The models hair in loose waves, pinned to one side and graphic eye makeup complimented the feminine styles shown at the YDE by Ole Yde runway show. YDE is clearly a brand not following the typical Scandinavian minimalistic understated style, but rather on the contrary embraces glamorous luxury pieces for women, inspired from previous Hollywood divas.
Ole Yde is inspired by all things beautiful and glamorous.
Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.
Georg Jensen thrilled us with a campaign around London just before Christmas; Delightful images capturing this outstanding Danish luxury brand, a world’s premier jeweller with creations of timeless beauty and superlative craftsmanship.

The DNA that the archive represents is the foundation of all my collections. For me, it is about renewal while still retaining an understanding of the brand and its heritage.
