We’ve celebrated Christmas in Norway, been skiing in the Alps and enjoyed frosty walks and log fire in pubs in London. We truly made the most out of the cold season. In addition we’ve also seen Munthe’s news for SS15… Winter, it’s time to leave!
It’s by for now from the Rützoe team. The Danish fashion brand is having to close down after 13 years since it was first launched. Rützoe has within that time become popular for it’s feminine and incredible stylish women’s collections. The original idea was to move away from fast fashion circus and rather create fashion staples that would be elegant and timeless. But with the recent years of a struggeling finical climate, it’s proven to be a challenging route to go, as quality comes at a price.
This season must have is leather, as in everything from coats and boots to skirts and shorts. The trend is to mix and match different types and colours, throw in some fur details or chunky knits, add silk or prima cotton next to skin for a feminine touch and you are set for the colder months ahead.
Munthe plus Simonsen has embraced the new trend, with a laid-back glam attitude and a edgy touch.
Founded by in 1994 by designers Naja Munthe and Karen Simonsen, Munthe plus Simonsen has since 2009 been led by Naja Munthe. The company has three stores, in Oslo, Aarhus and Copenhagen. The brand is currently sold in 11 countries.
Every February and August Munthe plus Simonsen holds its spectacular annual fashion shows in Denmark, where Naja Munthe presents the latest Munthe plus Simonsen collection. See more at muntheplussimonsen.com

I know we’re still waiting for summer to arrive. But on a rainy and grey day in May I thought I’d might as well share a sneak preview on some gorgeous pre autumn news landing in stores mid June. From Danish designer label Designers Remix comes oversized coats, jumpers, trousers, shorts and skirts in the chic but slightly sporty look we’ve become to love.
I remember my mum had similar white court shoes in the 80’s and as a child I always though they were beautiful.
The red ensemble is to die for, with a simple oversized jumper matched together with a asymmetric skirt. Very bold indeed.
