Ole YDE Spring Summer 2013 with vintage Georg Jensen jewellery
Copenhagen based fashion house YDE creates unique and distinctive Prêt-à-Porter with a fine “poetic” touch. The label presented its new collection SS13 at Copenhagen Fashion Week August 2012, runway models accessorised with gorgeous shoes by Christian Louboutin and with vintage Georg Jensen sterling silver jewellery, curated by designer Ole Yde from the Danish silversmith’s impressive archives. The models hair in loose waves, pinned to one side and graphic eye makeup complimented the feminine styles shown at the YDE by Ole Yde runway show. YDE is clearly a brand not following the typical Scandinavian minimalistic understated style, but rather on the contrary embraces glamorous luxury pieces for women, inspired from previous Hollywood divas.

When Sarah Jessica Parker visited freezing Oslo for the Nobel Peace Prize this winter she came in a leather coat and left in a warm and snug down jacket. The two founders of Norwegian luxury brand Fleischer Couture left one of their beautiful coats in the reception where Sarah Jessica Parker was staying. They didn’t hear anything and assumed she didn’t receive it. But shortly after she was spotted wearing it. Not only during her stay in Oslo, but also as of recent in the wintery streets of New York.

There’s some seriously sharp tailoring from David Andersen Copenahgen for Spring Summer 2013, all in his raw black and white signature style. Go Scandinavian attended the David Andersen Runway show during Copenhagen Fashion Week last August. With a futuristic and highly inspirational atmosphere, the fully seated runway show was a huge success.
